As previously announced, Call of Duty: Warzone 2's big Season 4 update arrives on June 14 with a brand-new map called Vondel. Activision revealed a gameplay trailer during Summer Game Fest, giving players a first look at the action that can be expected on the new map.

Vondel is a mid-sized map designed for battle royale's Resurgence mode and DMZ experiences, meaning it's sized somewhere between Al Mazrah and Ashika Island. This map will support up to 18 players for DMZ and 72 for Resurgence game modes.

The Season 4 trailer shows a close up of some of the 15 main points of interest players will be visiting. These diverse locations include a zoo, mall, museum, train station, and a medieval castle. There are even waterways for boat fights, and a vibrantly colored paintball arena to visit.

Additionally, Season 4 will add dynamic fog which is unique to the Vondel map. Activision's seasonal blog post suggests that battle royale matches will still have sunny weather on Vondel, but there is the possibility of fog.

For DMZ mode, Vondel will feature much more dynamic fog, with the developer describing the weather condition as being typically light enough to still see enemies at medium distances, but in rare instances, it will have a much higher density level.

Season 4 is also set to include a brand-new battle pass, more DLC weapons, and more. Make sure to check out everything for Season 4 of Modern Warfare 2, including all the new maps and modes. Here we break down all the new battle royale features and DMZ changes for Season 4 of Warzone 2.
