Are you supporting game companies by buying games at full price?

I never really put much thought into this before. But buying video games at full price to support the developers is a great way to show appreciation. Of course, not every game studio deserves that, but people tend to support their favorite ones that they think are honorable.

I've done that a few times for small developers after seeing they actually care for their products and player base. It's nice to see hard-working people succeed.

What about you tho, have you done something similar?

It's only Indie games that I have the mind to buy their games at full price. If it's all those AAA game's companies, it's always very hard for me to buy their games at full price. Although, I couldn't say no to getting Ghost of Tsushima and The Last Of Us Part II at full price.

When I buy games it does not occur to my mind that I am actually supporting the game company. When I buy the game, the only thing that occurs to my mind is I am not doing anything illegal (I am not using pirated games).

There is nothing illegal when it comes to buying games from video games companies as long as you're purchasing games from their reliable stores.
