Best screen recording software?

What, in your opinion, is the best software available for free to record your screen with?

I'm for sure going to vote for OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) Studio. It's the most popular screen recording software available for PC, very simple to use, has extensive customization options, and doesn't take a lot of resources.

Streamlabs OBS is also another great alternative and has some pre-made scenes and layouts that could help a beginner.

I use clipchamp dot com. It is a free screen recording, video making, and text to sound recorder combined into one. Before I was introduced to this screen recorder, I was using Screencast.
