Hiking is a great way to improve your health. When you go hiking you exercise muscules which you usually don't while you are sitting at a desk in the office or at home. So, it's a nice change of the atmosphere. You also relieve stress as you're in the nature where you don't have to worry about work or something similar.

I enjoy hiking myself but I haven't went hiking for years. I follow my fitness program and I do legs on Thursday. I don't want to go out of my program but I don't think hiking would hurt it that much.
