Do you prefer watching gameplay over actually playing the video game?

Myself, I like doing both, especially for sandbox games. One example is Cities Skylines, I have a favorite YouTuber that I actively follow, and sometimes I get inspired by him, which improves my game skills. It's vital for me always to keep improving on my games.

I don't have any problems with doing both because they are both fun to do for me. But if I must choose one, I would definitely be interested in playing.

I would rather choose to play instead of just watching. However, I also like watching game plays, especially those games that I have not started playing yet. Watching helps me to device whether I should start playing the game or not.

Definitely, playing is better than watching. You get more involved in the game by playing than when you're just watching. Some games get so interesting and intense when you play it.
