A popular fan theory suggests Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire secretly set up the Deathly Hallows - even before J.K. Rowling's books. The Harry Potter movie franchise began in 2001 and quickly became a massive hit for Warner Bros. Due to the young age of its stars and the franchise's incredible popularity, the studio wasted no time making and releasing multiple sequels. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire arrived in 2005 as the fourth entry in the movie franchise. The film proved to be an important part of the franchise's story, as it featured the first appearance of Ralph Fiennes' Voldemort, but it might have also teased the Deathly Hallows.
