Dungeons & Dragons has a bevy of wonderful magical items that, if used improperly, can put the damper on a player's day. Whether the item doesn't differentiate between friend and foe, becomes an inconvenience quickly after use, or is just downright cursed, these magical artifacts can quickly screw up a player's plans and land them in the hot seat. It is up to the Dungeon Master to determine which of these items are fit to deploy in a campaign, and which would cause things to unravel at a scale that may not be fixable.
