Do you think cryptocurrency will replace Fiat currency?

Cryptocurrency is one of the hottest prospect and commodity in the world that's linked to finances. It's so powerful that almost all the world's government tremble at it and fighting it like their economic survival is tied to the downfall of cryptocurrency.
With that being said, do you think that cryptocurrencies have the capacity and capability to replace the world's Fiat currencies?

Not really, crypto is just too unpredictable. It's value can drop way too fast to be viable long term. At least Fiat has governmental watch over it. Making it far less likely to collapse.

I think that's right, although there are stable cryptocurrencies like USDT and the rest but generally, the volatility of cryptocurrency is what's going to make it very difficult to replace Fiat currencies.

First proper money (minted coins) was created in 600 BC, however, we still have metal coins as money. First paper money was created in the 7th century. When the bank cards were introduced in the 1950s, a lot of people believed soon paper money will vanish, but we still have paper money. Therefore, crypto will not replace fiat money.

There is a long way to go before we can start thinking towards crypto coins replacing fiat money. Take for instance, the high volatility of coins, which is quite on a different level when compared to fiat.

Any government that attempts to replace fiat with cryptocurrency might be making the biggest mistake in their economic history.
