Safal MRM Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Safal Group and partner company, Mabati Rolling Mills, a game changer in the building and construction industry in Kenya, which has it's presence in Eastern and Southern Africa.
We implement projects around 4 key pillars: Education, Health, Environment and Shelter and two of our flagship projects include the Mabati Technical Training Institute and the Mabati Medical Centre, which are both in Mariakani, Kilifi County. Through them, we have been able to offer quality education by training needy youth on desirable technical and vocational skills needed in the current job market, as well as improving the lives of communities living in Kilifi County by providing quality and affordable healthcare services at a highly subsidized rate.
We also partner with our parent company, the Mabati Rolling Mills to donate roofing materials to dilapidated educational centres in the community. We have also been at the forefront of environmental conservation, whereby we are moving around schools in Kilifi County in Kenya to plant fruit trees to beautify their environment as well as improve their diet in the long run.
We hope to make friends here at G-smart hub and look for ways we can scale up our activities through partnerships from across the globe.
