For me it would be clicker games, they start off fun, but after ascending a few times you eventually get to the point you’re effectively making no cookies at all, and that lead me to stop playing. Upon stopping cookie clicker, I came to the horrible realization that it all had been for nothing, that I had learned nothing and overcame no challenge. They’re like a black hole, sucking your time away and giving nothing back.
