A new Marvel's Spider-Man mod has faithfully recreated Mark Bagley's Ultimate Spider-Man suit from the iconic 2000s comic book series. The Ultimate run of comics was Marvel's way of modernizing Spider-Man in the early 2000s prior to 2002's Sam Raimi blockbuster film, retelling Peter Parker's story for a new generation after the character had already been a comics mainstay for nearly 40 years. Writer Brian Michael Bendis opted for a more slow-burn, dialogue-heavy approach to storytelling, with Spider-Man's origin story running for seven issues. This allowed readers to truly get to know characters such as Uncle Ben better, with a more developed relationship with Peter making his inevitable death hit harder.
