Americas Summer is here!

I’m outside on my patio wearing a shirt, flip flops and a skirt sipping an iced caramel bubble tea and having some snacks, just enjoying the sunshine and the view outside for my daily mindfulness exercise. It’s at times like these that I feel lucky to be alive, that this current moment is a blessing and a gift. Today it’s sunny and 8C, breezy and a clear blue sky. Winter has totally gone now. I could smell and see the fresh flowers in my front yard blooming. Really lovely today.

I'm not a summer person at all. Winter is my favorite season of the year because I love the cold and ice more than anything. I get that some people would like to have more outdoor activities that comes with summer, but that's not me at all. I love being at home enjoying the chilling weather my winter comes with.

We have 4 seasons here. Summer, rainy, autumn, and winter. Summer is almost ending and soon rainy season will begin. Ours is an agrarian economy, therefore, the rainy season is the reason for rice plantation.

Rain is always good, I personally call it the vegetation season because it's the only time we get into agriculture very well and help with the production of food.
