System requirements not good enough

Have you ever faced a situation where you are really into a game and then you find out your PC doesn't meet required hardware expectation. Of course, you don't have money in this scenario for it. How does that feel like? Or, let's say you are playing a game for some time (years) and then they upgrade system requirements which makes the game unplayable for you. Isn't that frustrating?
This happened to me with Fortnite. At first I could play game very easy but as time was passing by the game...
