What do you consider a gaming addiction?

It can be subjective, but I consider someone having a gaming addiction when they put important real-life tasks aside to play video games. Things like studying, work, daily chores, physical activity, etc. When it prevents you from having a normal life.

So, what would you consider a gaming addiction? Have you ever been addicted to gaming?

When I bought a smartphone for the first time, I started playing Candy Crush. I was playing until my phone died, sometimes I was playing until 4 in the morning. That was a clear case of game addiction. These days, I play only 3-5 hours a week.
