I guess it depends on the context. For instance, Twitter is a flaming garbage pile, but all the accusations of them destroying free speech are silliness and nonsense. And accusing a company of things that are blatantly false does nothing but give said company a shield of, “well, we’ve been falsely accused of things for a long time…”
