When did you start drawing?

Can you recall when you started drawing? I remember drawing a few things here and there as a kid, but I never really did so often. I'm not the best artist, I have a feeling though if I took the time to really practice, I could get better. I wish I knew how to draw decently, I can only draw stick figures and they usually still don't look too impressive. xD I have gotten better at drawing classic Sonic's head, but I still cannot draw the rest of his body well.
